Stewart Coull is Jemtech’s new MD

Family-owned cutting fluid specialist Jemtech, the exclusive distributor of Blaser cutting Fluids in the UK and Ireland, has announced that current managing director Steve Coull will hand over the reins of the company to his son and current commercial director, Stewart from April 2016.

Steve Coull will remain in the business as full time CEO focusing on new business development and overseeing the launch and implementation of a new, innovative business venture later on in the year.

Established in 1996 by husband and wife team Steve and Sue Coull, Jemtech has gone from strength to strength over the last 20 years and is recognised across the industry for the quality of its Blaser cutting fluids, excellent aftersales service and the experience, expertise and approachability of its staff.

The appointment of Stewart Coull as managing director, who has been with the company for 10 years, ensures that Jemtech’s business values, ethos and approach remain unchanged: “Continuity is important – to customers, partners and staff – and the transition will be seamless,” Steve affirmed.

“2016 is an important year for us: the planned relocation of our UK headquarters to new premises; the imminent launch of a new, ground-breaking product in May; and a significant increase in our headcount, all represent another milestone in Jemtech’s history and explain why the time is right to divide the management responsibilities.”

Stewart will take over all operational responsibilities in his new role. He will work closely with the sales team and will continue to manage a number of key accounts: “I’m looking forward to the challenge and the company is in good shape. We have great products, great service, a great team and a great reputation. It is my intention to build on these strengths so that we are better able to identify and secure new business opportunities in the future,” he enthused.
