Strength to strength

Cutwel has recently appointed two new external area technical sales managers following a period of extensive growth over the past 12 months.

According to the company, sales are up a meteoric 80% on this time last year and the new recruits are part of a planned expansion programme that will see a further eight external technical sales managers appointed.

Mike Shanley has been appointed to cover the North West. Mr Shanley served his apprenticeship with the Royal Ordnance, is HNC qualified and has over 25 years' experience in technical sales in the tooling sector.
Paul Hayes, appointed as the Cutwel's new technical sales manager in the Home Counties, has a wealth of experience with thirty years in the engineering industry. Starting his career as an apprentice at the Ford Motor Company, he progressed into a technical role as a CNC application programmer before progressing onto tooling sales roles.

Cutwel's Adam Gillard commented: “It has always been Cutwel's main aim to save our customers time and money through helping them improve machining processes, increasing performance and tool life wherever possible. We are exceptionally pleased to have Mike and Paul as part of the team and look forward to a new, exciting and prosperous year ahead.”
