Subcontract machining firm invests in new horizontal machining centre

Subcontract machining company, NTG Precision Engineers, has purchased a new Matsuura Machinery H.Plus-405 multi-pallet horizontal machining centre.

The subcontractor works in close collaboration with its customers to rapidly introduce and scale up new processes and precision assembly capabilities. This includes continual investment in new technology, such as this machine.

The investment enables the firm to produce precision engineered components in small to medium sized batches and offers lights-out operations for the first time.

NTG managing director, Mike Hutchinson explains more in the video above.
