TCT 3Sixty: 3D printing and additive manufacturing excellence

TCT 3Sixty is firmly established as the UK's definitive and most influential 3D printing and additive manufacturing event.

From 7-8 June this year in Hall 1 at the NEC Birmingham, the free event will bring together leading technology suppliers, service companies and the largest additive manufacturing and 3D printing conference in the UK.

The show goes beyond simply raising awareness and adoption of additive manufacturing and 3D printing. TCT 3Sixty ensures attendees develop a 360° understanding of the potential of these innovative technologies to help increase utilisation at all stages of the design, engineering and manufacturing process.

For exhibitors, TCT 3Sixty is a chance to connect with buyers from key companies such as 3M, Bentley, Jaguar Land Rover, GSK, Samsung, Honda, Bespak, Delta Electronics, Unilever, BAE Systems, Boots and Rolls-Royce who are all looking to evaluate and invest in 3D printing and additive manufacturing technology.

“From a visitor’s perspective, TCT 3Sixty creates an engaging and inspiring experience. An opportunity to discover solutions, speak to almost 200 technology providers and learn from nearly 100 speakers – with 1,000 years of combined experience – who will deliver a world-class programme across four stages,” enthuses Jane Dengate, group portfolio marketing manager at Rapid News Group.

“TCT 3Sixty has one goal – to make attendees better equipped to realise the benefits of 3D printing and additive manufacturing technology,” she adds. “Whether you are a design, engineering or manufacturing professional who is ready to invest for the first time, looking to upgrade, needing to optimise your existing machines or just want to absorb every bit of new information, TCT 3Sixty has everything you need in one place.

“Having been integral to the growth of 3D printing and additive manufacturing for 30 years, the TCT Group has built a strong community and connections so you will find everything and everyone you need to know under one roof.”

Visitors will also have access to an exclusive Event Hub to help build a diary of conference sessions and meetings, discover recommended products and suppliers, and connect with peers.

An integral part of TCT 3Sixty is the TCT Awards ceremony which takes place on 7th June at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham. The TCT Hall of Fame is a focal point and highlight of the ceremony which recognises and celebrates those members of the additive manufacturing and 3D printing fraternity who have dedicated a lifetime of research, development and innovation to the industry.

The TCT Awards judging panel has put forward its Hall of Fame nominations with the most votes for the 2023 awards.

“It is always a supreme honour and privilege to induct new entrants to the TCT Hall of Fame at the TCT Awards,” comments Duncan Wood, chief executive of Rapid News Publications. “The list is a veritable who's who of industry legends and innovators, all of whom have made significant contributions to the additive manufacturing and 3D printing industry over a prolonged period of time.

“This year's list is no different and I congratulate all of the nominees and wish them good luck in the ensuing process.”

The nominees in alphabetical order are:

Andy Christensen: medical applications specialist & advisor; Diana Kalisz: process pioneer and material specialist; Professor Jean-Pierre Kruth: a researcher in the AM industry for over 30 years, and founder of numerous spin-outs such as Materialise, Metris and Layerwise; Joe Beaman: process pioneer and researcher; Melissa Orme: AM researcher and application specialist; and Nora Toure: AM diversity pioneer and business leader.

The final stage of the process is for the TCT Awards judges to vote on deciding a winner. Hosted by acclaimed commentator and presenter for Sky Sports F1 David Croft, the successful nominees will be announced at the TCT Awards Ceremony on 7th June 2023, and will join the 12 previous winners inducted into the TCT Hall of Fame.
