TCT Show 2019: Adding appeal for design and manufacture

Reflecting the growing interest and uptake of additive manufacturing TCT, the trade show dedicated to design-to-manufacture technology, is set to open its doors at the NEC from 24-26 September.

Almost 10,000 visitors from 80 different countries are expected to attend the three-day event in Hall 3 and 3a, which will showcase the latest additive manufacturing technology solutions and innovations from nearly 300 leading exhibitors including HP, Ultimaker, Trumpf, BOC, Formlabs, Siemens and Renishaw.

Visitors to the event will also gain insights from the world-class conference and seminar programmes held across four stages: TCT Summit; TCT Tech; TCT Introducing and TCT Insights.

TCT Summit is a user-led conference which will bring together industry experts and trailblazers, guaranteed to interest the audience with absorbing talks and panel discussions. Featuring presentations on cutting edge-technology, innovation and market intelligence, the TCT Summit stage will connect leading authorities, engineers, designers and respected academics across aerospace, automotive, rail, healthcare and business sectors.

Some of the topics this year include: The UK’s first additive manufacturing solution for the rail industry; driving innovation in the automotive industry with AM technologies; buying AM equipment; surviving disruption in additive manufacturing and the use of additive processes in medicine.

The TCT Tech Stage this year will host CPD-certified, sessions on topics surrounding jewellery, powder metallurgy, metrology, and plastics manufacturing. Visitors are also invited to attend the #3DTalk panel session dedicated to software, hosted by Women in 3D Printing and Cyant, featuring female leaders and pioneers in the 3D printing and additive manufacturing industry.

The TCT Introducing Stage will showcase inspiring talks, live debates, and interactive sessions on the latest additive manufacturing product developments and services.

The vibrant and dynamic three-day programme is led by the TCT Show’s most prominent exhibitors including Formlabs, Protolabs, EOS, Materialise, Fraunhofer IWU, and many more.

New for 2019, the TCT Insights Stage will shine the spotlight on the essential aspects required to understand the entire spectrum of the current and emerging additive manufacturing technologies.

Also new to TCT Show 2019 is TCT Connect, this year in association with HP. The networking platform will provide an interactive networking space for professionals in the design-to-manufacturing industry where they can exchange ideas and ultimately facilitate business growth.

Additionally, on the evening of the 25th at the NEC, the TCT Awards will celebrate the innovators, technologies and collaborators behind the leading examples of additive manufacturing and design.
