In all, three new machines will be introduced to the UK market at this event, but the main focus will be on fibre guided laser processing – and in particular the UK launch of the TruLaser 5030 fiber.
Due to its high dynamics, the TruLaser 5030 fiber takes full advantage of the fibre guided TruDisk solid state laser and achieves high cutting speeds on thin sheet. In fusion cutting of stainless steel up to 4mm thick, it is capable of feed rates up to three times faster than its CO2 alternative.
The exhibition also sees the European launch of the TruPunch 3000 with SheetMaster Compact, the new electric punch. Economical use of resources is the core of the concept behind the machine – it has numerous features to help save material, energy and personnel costs. The third new introduction will be the TruLaser Cell 3010, a fully automated laser processing system that is said to open up new possibilities where conventional cutting methods such as milling or wire EDM reach their limits.
