Lots of political post election jockeying going on today.

It seemed like someone was resigning every 5 minutes at one point. Vince Cable is unfortunately a casualty of the election but looking forward it's really important that manufacturing is well represented in a future government.

We've come a long way since the dark days of 2009/2010 and the sector is in pretty good shape but we need a figurehead within government who will continue to fly the flag for UK manufacturing. As Business Secretary, Vince Cable did a pretty good job when all's said and done; David Cameron's next appointment will be equally as crucial. But who's up for the job?
