Three-day open house event announced by Matsuura

From 8-10 October 2019, Matsuura Machinery will be hosting an open house event at its headquarters in Coalville, Leicestershire.

This event heralds the UK launch of the MX-850 PC4 multi-pallet, large capacity 5-axis machine. Configured with four pallets and up to 120 tools for extended periods of unmanned machining of large and complex components and billets, the PC4 can accommodate 400kg per pallet and a workpiece size of 850mm diameter x 450mm.

In the Additive Manufacturing Facility there will also be live 3D colour printing on the HP Jet Fusion 580 and the first demonstrations on the HP 5200 mass production 3D printer.

Visitors will see a wide range of Matsuura’s advanced CNC machine tools on show, including: VX-1000/single table 3-axis vertical with 1,000mm in X; MAM72-63V/twin pallet and six pallet 5-axis machines; H.Plus-405/4-axis horizontal with six 500mm² pallets; MX-330 PC10 – ideal for multi-pallet 5-axis machining; MX-520/single table 5-axis – Matsuura’s bestselling machine; Muratec Murata MT200/twin spindle/three turret automated lathe with auto load/unload; and MX-850/5-axis (single table version).

Commenting on the event, Roger Howkins, managing director of Matsuura Machinery said: “It is great to offer two new game-changing production machines at our open house: the four pallet MX-850 PC4 is the automated solution our customers have been requesting for the unmanned 5-axis machining of larger components, and the HP 580 3D colour printer.

“Our ‘buy now pay later’ scheme has made our machines even more affordable than ever – register for the open house and ask us about our deferred payment options.”
