Top level changes

The 600 Group has announced that CEO David Norman has retired from the company with immediate effect.

"Having led the company from the loss making period of 2008/9 back to producing an underlying profit during the last two years, I believe that it is now an appropriate time for me to stand down and hand the reins over,” Mr Norman divulged.

Nigel Rogers will take over as CEO. He joins the Group having previously been CEO of the Stadium Group, a leading provider of electronic manufacturing services and power supply solutions with annual sales of approximately £45 million. He has considerable experience in international business development, mergers and acquisitions and the strategic direction of diversified industrial groups.

Mr Rogers commented: “I am delighted to be joining a leading engineering group with an exceptional heritage and brand strength.”

600 Group chairman Paul Dupee added: “The Board would like to thank David for his contribution to the restructuring of the Group and to welcome Nigel, whose significant experience will be key in driving the future growth of our operations both in the UK and Internationally."
