Trumpf Digital Summit set for early April

Following the success of its virtual BlechExpo Innovation Days last year, Trumpf is repeating the winning formula on Wednesday 6th April with its Digital Summit. It will focus on nine topics, each of which will occupy a 30-minute presentation slot across the day.  

Technology experts in each field will address the current challenges, introduce the latest Trumpf solutions and the opportunities they present. As well as the live talks there will be Q&A sessions for in-depth professional exchange; all will be conducted in English. 

Main highlights are: entry-level machines from laser cutting to bending with minimal investment, maximum success; get into laser cutting cost-effectively – the TruLaser 1030 fiber; optimising production processes with integrated cutting and bending; introduction to a new shopfloor software solution for sheet metal processing; how to get started with automated panel bending; get into smart production with tailored solutions; and automated welding has never been so simple and more.

A highlight of the day is the 14:30 session presented by keynote speaker Dr Peter Leibinger, Trumpf’s chief technical officer. He will provide informative insights into the company’s latest research into quantum computing for sheet metalworking.
