Manufacturer of carbide performs used in a variety of tooling applications General Carbide, has acquired full ownership of the business and assets of General Carbide Europe of Daventry, Northants, UK, now called General Carbide UK Limited.
“With the full backing of General Carbide, the new company is positioned better than ever to serve the industrial tooling and wear parts needs of customers in the UK and Europe,” said Mona Pappafava-Ray, president of General Carbide.
General Carbide established General Carbide Europe in 1989 as an independent sales agency to promote the company's products in the UK. General Carbide UK has evolved into a fabrication and grinding shop serving the oil and gas production sector by manufacturing carbide and steel wear resistant valve assembly components for North Sea drilling operations. General Carbide UK also supplies manufacturers with a variety of metal forming punches, dies, fastener tooling and wear parts
