Up to a dozen

The Haas Technical Education Centre (HTEC) list of official partners has grown to twelve with the recent addition of Cimcool, a leader in metalworking fluids technology.



Haas Automation and its strategic industry partners are helping technical schools all over Europe to acquire and use modern production equipment for CNC education puposes. “Cimcool is very eager to support schools in the HTEC program,” confirmed Peter Hall, managing director of Haas Automation Europe, “and I'm delighted that the company is joining our team of HTEC industry partners.”

Cees de Hoog, marketing support manager at Cimcool Industrial Products BV responded to Mr Hall's enthusiastic welcome by reiterating the importance of good fluid management in CNC machining. “It's essential that the next generation of skilled CNC technologists is familiar with the role and importance of fluids,” he emphasised. “Cimcool's contribution to HTECs will help to ensure that this is the case.”

“Our aim,” added. Bert Maes, HTEC coordinator at Haas Automation Europe, “is to provide schools that are part of the HTEC network with the very best technology and support. Cimcool is an important addition to our roster of industry partners.”

The other eleven industry partners include: Keller; Esprit; Mastercam; Sandvik Coromant; Renishaw; Blaser; Chick; Schunk; Urma; Air Turbine Technology; and Hainbuch.
