Virtual arena for gear cutting technology

Gear machining specialist Liebherr is holding an online event to highlight its latest technology.

The Performance Days showcase running from December 7-9 will be using the German company’s Tech Arena as a platform to present new products, host live talks and as a focus for technological exchange.

In the Tech Arena exclusive information will be available about new products and the company’s current portfolio in the areas of gear technology and automation systems. In addition, company representatives will be available for advice on all product areas to help develop technical solutions for customers.

In the gear technology product area, Liebherr will be presenting different solutions for gear hobbing, shaping, skiving, grinding and chamfering, as well as many others.

Online attendees can also learn more about the newly-developed clamping technology, SECLA, which is described as a 'perfectly coordinated clamping concept'.

In the area of automation systems, Liebherr will be introducing for the first time an innovative, automated concept for the assembly of battery packs.

Liebherr will also offer networking methods for tailor-made digitalisation solutions for all its product areas. The spectrum ranges from simple monitoring applications to far-reaching Industry 4.0 scenarios.
