Wenzel Metrology UK to make waves at Made in the Midlands

Wenzel Metrology UK to make waves at Made in the Midlands

Wenzel Metrology UK is set to build on its recent momentum in the East Midlands by exhibiting at the upcoming Made in the Midlands expo, taking place on Thursday 20th June at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

Coinciding with the firm’s 25th anniversary, the show will give the metrology specialist the opportunity to demonstrate its high-quality coordinate measuring technology to a wealth of companies across the region.

The firm, exhibiting on stand J21, will be taking one of its compact Computed Tomography (CT) machines to the show which provides detailed evaluations of plastics, composites and multi-materials. Like all Wenzel machinery, the technology delivers high efficiency gains with low operating costs.

Commenting on the upcoming event, Steve Hughes, managing director of Wenzel Metrology UK, said: “The upcoming expo is really timely for our business. Last month we officially became 25 years old, and following our move to the East Midlands at the end of last year, we’re all set to rapidly expand operations both here and further overseas.

“Our company already has a massive presence in the Midlands, working with huge brands like Rolls-Royce, and we’re really looking forward to connecting with likeminded businesses and prospective customers across the region.”

As well as expanding operations in the East Midlands, Wenzel has also recently launched two new shop-floor machines, the SF 87, and the smaller SF 55. Both are designed to deliver precision accuracy as close as possible to the production floor.

Additionally, the German manufacturer has announced it will be continuing its 25+ year partnership with industrial metrology leader Renishaw. The company’s high-tech probes and sensors already accompany a wide range of Wenzel machinery, and now Wenzel’s Quartis measurement software is soon to be integrated with the Renishaw Equator gauging system.

Anyone unable to attend the Made in the Midlands event is invited to join Wenzel at its Sandiacre offices from June 25 – 27 where it will be showcasing a range of products, including LH87, Revo 2, Core D and Quartis software, from its new demo room.
