XYZ Machine Tools’ showroom clearance days are renowned for the value for money deals that customers can get on the ex-demo machines that are renewed on a regular basis at its showrooms across the country.

The 20th March will see its main showroom in Burlescombe, Devon host not only one of these events, but also provide opportunities to be among the first to see the latest ProtoTRAK RX control system, the new XYZ UMC-4+1 machining centre and, have a preview of the innovative ROBO-TEND robot automation system for machining and turning centres.

As at all of these XYZ Machine tools events, deals will be done on the day and, given the location at the company’s headquarters, the number of machines on offer is significant, ranging from SMX and SLX ProtoTRAK controlled mills and lathes, through vertical machining centres from the LR and HD series, turning centres, to the large capacity XL lathes with up to 1100mm swing and machining centres with up to 3000mm of X-axis travel.

A large proportion of these can be seen under power alongside the new RMX and RLX ProtoTRAK machines and the HD series of vertical machining centres, which are now available with the new Heidenhain TNC620 control.

Nigel Atherton, managing director, XYZ Machine Tools, said: “This clearance day at Devon is the most popular of our events and with ex-demo machines being renewed with new stock to ensure that we have the very latest technology on display. As always there are deals to be done, but with the doors opening at 9:00 arriving early is the recommendation, as stock of ex-demo machines is limited and when they are sold, they are sold.”

The event is hosted at XYZ Machine Tools’ main showroom, located at Woodlands Business Park, Burlescombe, Tiverton, Devon, EX16 7LL.
