Zeiss announces new webinar series for the medical industry

That’s why the company is offering a new webinar series dedicated to quality assurance methods for the medical industry, with the first of three taking place on 21^st April 2021. The webinars will offer practical demonstrations for measuring a range of different medical components, features and materials, using optical, non-contact and X-ray inspection methods.

1. Title: Tips & tricks for measuring highly polished metal medical components

Date: 21^st April 2021, 8am (BST)

Preview: Learn how to check the geometric dimensioning of highly polished metal implants, without causing micro scratches. Highlights include:

• Speed up the measurement process with 4-axis scanning and a rotary table

2. Title: Non-contact inspection methods for efficiently measuring plastic medical components

3. Title: How to efficiently measure hard-to-access freeform features of metal medical components
