AMOB UK wins prestigious award

Coventry-based tube bending equipment specialist, AMOB UK, has been honoured with the first ever King’s Award for Enterprise for its exceptional contribution to International Trade.

The company is one of only 148 organisations nationally to be recognised with the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise. Announced today [Friday 21st April 2023], AMOB UK has been recognised for its excellence in International Trade, one of only 78 awards in the same category presented in 2023.

The business was founded in 2017, and provides one of the widest ranges of specialised machinery for the tube and pipe bending industry worldwide. With technology installed and commissioned across the globe, AMOB UK’s influence in international trade spans as far as Australia. Industrial fabrication machinery is also present within Europe, the Middle East, and Ireland, in Britain’s post-Brexit trade landscape.

“The exceptional effort and commitment of the entire AMOB UK team over the past few years has been immeasurable, and this achievement is testament to that hard work,” enthused managing director, Thomas Wood. “We are privileged to be recognised with this achievement.”

The King’s Awards for Enterprise (previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise) reflects His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s, by recognising outstanding businesses in the United Kingdom.

The award programme, now in its 57th year, is the most prestigious business award in the country, with successful businesses able to use the King’s Awards emblem for the next five years.
