The month saw 146 aircraft delivered, pushing the running total for 2017 to 1285, now 23 ahead of the production pace set in 2016. November’s deliveries represent up to £2.8 billion in value to UK industry, taking the overall total for the year to £25 billion.
With Airbus, Boeing and Bombardier announcing major orders at November’s Dubai Airshow, order books are also above 2016 levels, as the ongoing trend of rising demand around the world continues.

The UK is playing a vital role in this success, with the aircraft delivered so far this year worth £25 billion to our economy, spreading prosperity and creating high value jobs right across the country.
“While Brexit is creating headwinds and there are challenges from international competitors, this sector is set to continue its upward trajectory. I am confident UK aerospace and its highly skilled workforce will deliver another record year for aircraft production in 2017.”
