Bowers Group appoints new manager for Mobile Metrology Centre

With a strong background in metrology and engineering, including a recent roles as metrology team leader at Advanced Manufacturing in Coventry, Mr Gould has extensive knowledge of applications engineering and a wealth of experience providing front line demonstrations.

Mr Gould’s role will involve delivering detailed product demonstrations across the UK for the full range of metrology products available from Bowers Group, as well as driving sales and acquiring new business.

The new appointee will also be responsible for supporting the UK area sales managers in conjunction with the UK sales manager to identify current and potential new customers along with new market sectors, planning campaigns, and managing the MMC.

Equipment on board includes the high-quality optical inspection system, the Baty Venture Vision System, and the Sylvac Scan 52 optical measuring machine and the Innovatest Falcon 507 Vickers hardness tester. In addition, customers will have the chance to see a range of Bowers Bore Gauges and Sylvac Bluetooth hand tools.

The MMC also includes a 43" flatscreen TV fully equipped with a variety of useful marketing collateral and product information, as well as the opportunity to provide customers software demonstrations.
