Ficep UK will be presenting some of its latest high performance steel processing CNC machines at MACH, including the versatile Gemini 254 PG and the 601 DE Excalibur 6. The Gemini 254 PG is, according to its creators, a technologically advanced, multi-functional and flexible system for profile cutting, drilling, machining and scribing with a bevelling capability and an advanced material cutting capability using either HT2000 or HPR260 Hypertherm plasma systems. Contained within a compact footprint, the machine can produce flat metal parts from plate 5mm up to 75mm thick in one set-up, more economically but with the same or greater accuracy than using more expensive, separate cutting and labour intensive machining centres. The 601 DE Excalibur 6 outperforms manual methods of drilling for the smaller fabricator and can provide additional capacity for companies looking for a low cost solution to increase their productivity. This new small footprint drilling line features a movable spindle that rapidly travels the entire length of the material and has the ability to drill a hole of up to 40mm in diameter every five seconds. Its versatility also makes it ideal for flange drilling, web drilling, angles, plate detail and structural tubes up to 610mm high and 610mm wide. Ficep UK
