Carbon bike frame repair with machining system from CNC Robotics

Carbon Bike Repair use a CNC Robotics machining system in combination with a 3D scanner to repair carbon bike frames.

A 3D scanner is used to gather data on the bike frame, the data is transferred to the robot so the robot can 'see' the damage.

The Carbon Bike team manually do the wrapping of the carbon, the robot then finishes the job by machining the frame down to the desired shape – which is outlined by the 3D scan.
