At EMO 2017, Sandvik Coromant will be presenting innovative solutions for more efficient manufacturing processes.

The future of machining and production is to take centre stage on the company’s 528m² stand. True to its motto: ‘Together we shape the future of manufacturing – Let‘s connect!’, Sandvik Coromant aims to bring machining operations to the next level by offering new digital solutions and enabling the connection of processes, with the focus on optimising machining and decision making to increase profitability.

An international team of 40 specialists will present the company’s innovations. Among this year’s highlights is the new PrimeTurning method and its corresponding CoroTurn Prime turning tools, the industry’s first solution for turning in all directions offering improved machining flexibility, productivity and tool life.

In addition, the emphasis is on further developments of CoroPlus and Industry 4.0 facilitating the link-up of operations planning, process planning and machining as well as for an extended production analysis in order to secure a more profitable and sustainable production.

Through cooperation with numerous machine manufacturers, the company’s tooling solutions will be shown on a variety of stands at EMO. In addition, the service team will support and advise exhibitors before and during EMO from pavilion P35.
