Walter Wade joins the team as part of the brand's continued focus on growth. He will be working with the business development team to establish new channels for Edgecam in emerging economies.
He joins the team from another role within the Vero Group, bringing 20 years' experience in both technical and commercial aspects of CAD/CAM solutions. For nearly 10 years he managed UK sales operations, before moving into international product distribution.
“The increased focus on branding and the substantial opportunities for growth are the main reasons for joining the Edgecam team,” he explained. “The passion for the benefits the software delivers to manufacturers is evident from everyone in the team.”
He will also be developing the existing reseller network, working closely with Edgecam general manager Raf Lobato, who commented: “This appointment demonstrates Edgecam's clear objective of sector dominance and commitment to our international business.”
