FC Laser announces record year of growth

Precision laser cutting specialist FC Laser has announced a record year with 30% growth in 12 months.

The company is doing so well that to satisfy customer demand it is to move to larger and more eco-friendly premises by the end of this year.

FC Laser's new 20,000ft2 factory has already received planning approval and the foundations will be laid in May 2017. The company expects to receive the keys in December and is arranging for a prominent figure to open the new site. An open day is planned for March 2018 at which visitors will be able to see FC Laser's suite of Bystronic laser profilers, including a brand new 10kW machine capable of cutting 30mm materials.

Because of its expansion, FC Laser has also been taking on new staff. These include account manager Brett Armitage, new business account manager Ellie Miller and apprentice internal sales engineer Will Krafts.

FC Laser's managing director, Danny Fantom, said: "In manufacturing, it's not always possible to provide guarantees, but we promise customers that we will deliver their products on time and to the highest possible quality and we keep to that promise every single time.

“That's how we have achieved such a fantastic year of growth and why we are moving to brand new premises and taking on key staff as we increase our market share."

He added: "We are committed 100% to offering a world class service to all our customers, from a rapid response to any enquiry to the quick and safe delivery of ordered parts."
