Finalists announced for TCT Awards 2019

Rapid News Publications has announced that the finalists for the 2019 TCT Awards have now been selected.

The awards are an annual celebration that showcases the world’s leading projects and innovators in the 3D printing, additive manufacturing and design and engineering industries.

Award winners will be chosen by the TCT Expert Advisory Board (EAB), a collection of highly regarded and experienced 3D technology experts who will consider and assess the finalists from 15 categories with the successful projects being announced during a gala evening in September.

Tickets are on sale now for this event which will recognise the accomplishments made by the innovators of the design-to-manufacture industry including BMW, Ford, Whirlpool, Sauber, Etihad and Riddell. The occasion promises to serve as a celebration of innovation and a great opportunity to network with the leading lights of the sector.

Highlights of the evening will include the induction of the latest member to the TCT Hall of Fame, as well as the brand new Women in 3D Printing Innovator Award.

This year’s ceremony will also see the introduction of a further two new awards in the metrology and inspection arena – the Inspex Application Award and the Inspex Hardware Award. Attendees can also look forward to the announcement of the winner of the of the Rising Star Award, which acknowledges an up and coming business which has had a breakthrough year.

Hosted by tech journalist and presenter Georgie Barrat, the ceremony will cover categories across a range of industries including medical, aerospace, automotive and consumer products.

The event will take place at the National Conference Centre (NCC) in Birmingham, on the 25th September 2019.
