Focused on performance

TTL announces high performance technology days.

Aerospace, power generation and automotive companies have to continually improve their products to be able to compete in the global marketplace. This requires them to exploit new technologies, manufacturing processes and the latest materials.

With this in mind, TTL has announced a series of High Performance Technology Days which will run from 25-27 November 2014. Established in 1987, TTL is a specialist in multi-axis machining and automated machining procedures.

“With our experience in solving difficult manufacturing processes, it seemed only fitting that we offer these High Performance Technology Days to demonstrate how companies can overcome their manufacturing challenges,” TTL's managing director, Rob Pope explained.

“We hear a lot from various different companies just how much they're feeling the pressure to produce high quality parts while cutting their costs. With over 100 years of combined experience here at TTL, we're able to supply high performance solutions – both with Siemens NX CAD/CAM software and our own Adaptive Machining Technology.”

He continued “The technology days will demonstrate our expertise with multi-axis machine tools, the benefits of our Adaptive Machining Technology and automating machining process. The days will be interactive giving customers a real taster of the software. With the recent purchase of a brand new 5-axis machine tool, the machine room will be buzzing with activity.”

Across all three days, TTL will be running live demonstrations on multi-axis machine tools driven by Siemens NX and Volumill's time saving advanced roughing strategies. Included will be an introduction to TTL's proven Adaptive Machining Technology and automating machining processes, plus the opportunity to put the Siemens NX software to the test in its new interactive demo suite.

Based at TTL's well-equipped in-house process development facilities in Haddenham near Aylesbury, TTL will be joined by a number of partnering companies including metrology, tooling and metalworking fluid suppliers. Interested parties are invited to register by clicking here.
