Four NWP apprentices to become qualified engineers

North West Precision (NWP), a division of Arlington Aerospace, has recently taken on four of its apprentices as skilled engineers.

All four have been working with the company between 4 and 5 years and have now qualified for full-time positions with the aeroplane parts manufacturer.

Bradley Tudor starts as a CNC machinist and engineer. He has completed BTEC Level 3 and NVQ Level 3 and is now going on to take his HNC Level 4 and NVQ Level 4. Jack Smith has also completed his time and is now working as a quality inspection engineer. Liam Hanley has been taken on as a CNC machinist. And Rob Shaw has completed his senior apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3 and has been employed as an engineer/fitter.

As well the four new full-time engineers, Arlington Aerospace has also welcomed two new apprentices on day release from Monks Ferry Engineering College in Birkenhead. Adam Smith starts a work-based NVQ Level 3 in machining and Mathew Gardener begins his apprenticeship in CNC programming and machining.
