Gewefa UK will be exhibiting in the Suppliers Village at the forthcoming Hurco open house and will be highlighting - among other products - its expertise as a supplier of face and taper toolholding products. The event will be taking place from 4-5 December at the Hurco UK headquarters in High Wycombe.

A number of the newly introduced Hurco machining centres being featured at the event will be equipped with face and taper spindles. As a leading toolholding specialist, Gewefa supports users of these machines with a range of toolholders that is one of the most extensive available.

It covers BT and DIN formats in SK30, 40 and 50 tapers to offer comprehensive capability for heavy-duty and high-speed machining applications. Toolholders are available as collet chucks, shell mills, face mills, shrink clamp, hydraulic chucks and in extended length and adaptor formats.

With its longstanding relationship with Hurco in the UK, Gewefa is the primary supplier of tooling packages supplied on new Hurco machines as well as equipment such as edge sensors.

In addition, Gewefa also supplies related toolholding products such as EWS static and driven tools, OTT spindle monitoring equipment, Pibomulti angle heads and speeders, Nann collets and Rineck heat shrink clamping machines.

“The Hurco open house is always well attended and we are delighted to be asked to participate again,” says Gewefa UK managing director Keith Warner.

“Gewefa personnel will be available to discuss all aspects of toolholding and related products with visitors and many of the operational machines will be running using Gewefa supplied equipment in what promises to be a very worthwhile and busy event.”
