Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence has announced plans to take its annual PC-DMIS metrology software seminars to a wider range of locations in 2018.

The measurement solutions provider will host the events at six venues in England and Ireland, beginning in Bristol on 24th April at the Aztec Hotel & Spa, Almondsbury.

The free training sessions for holders of Hexagon's PC-DMIS software maintenance agreements (SMAs) will include a variety of presentations by knowledgeable application engineers on topics such as understanding constructions.

As well as covering the latest software updates and explaining useful PC-DMIS tips and tricks, attendees will also be able to learn more about Hexagon's online eLearning portal.

SMA seminars will also be held at Hexagon's Silverstone Park subcontract facility, Towcester, on 23rd May and at its Telford Technical Centre on 12th September. The events will follow the same format at each location.

Additional sessions will take place in the North East of England on 10th October (venue to be confirmed) and at two locations in Ireland (venues and dates to be confirmed).

Sam O'Prey, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence UK aftermarket sales and marketing manager, said: "We've decided to hold our SMA seminars at a bigger choice of locations to allow more users to attend these valuable events. Up to two people per SMA contract are eligible but it is possible to accommodate an extra user by contacting us in advance to discuss individual requirements.”

Hexagon's SMA contracts provide a range of benefits including service pack and warranty updates, online and telephone technical support, webinars and e-learning courses.
