Hexagon supports local community with ice hockey sponsorship deal

The measurement solutions provider has struck an agreement with the Telford Tigers ice hockey team for the Hexagon logo to appear on match shirts as well as on rinkside advertising hoardings. And with the end of the season drawing near, the arrangement is already paying dividends as the team has just clinched the English Premier League title, its second championship in three years.

Employees at Hexagon, whose head office is based at the town's Halesfield business park, have also been showing their support for the team during home games including the title-winning match against Bracknell Bees.

"We believe it's very important to make a positive contribution to our local community and this sponsorship deal is one of many initiatives that help us achieve that objective," said Brett Green, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence's UK general manager.
