Intense pumping power

CNC World has sold another MultiCam waterjet system equipped with a KMT Neoline intensifier.

The Fareham, Hampshire-based company is the exclusive UK distributor for MultiCam CNC cutting systems, including waterjet, laser and plasma cutting machines together with CNC routers.

Mark Rowe, director of CNC World comments: “KMT offers the best quality pumps available and MultiCam would not promote anything that is not of the highest quality.”

Even though on a global basis, MultiCam USA is already 100% committed to the specification of KMT intensifiers for its cutting tables, Mr Rowe found that that they also fully met his requirements for the UK market. He discussed intensifiers with MultiCam in the United States and also undertook his own research, including a visit to KMT's European headquarters in Bad Nauheim, Germany.

Today, CNC World offers its UK customers a full range of MultiCam waterjet systems including the new 3000 and V-series models, as well as 6000 and 3000 series tables. They are available in a range of sizes and configurations for abrasive and pure waterjet cutting applications in general fabrication and subcontract engineering, aerospace machining, gasket manufacturing, glass and ceramic cutting as well as many other applications that underline the versatility of the waterjet cutting process.

The MultiCam V-series is an affordable, high performance cutting table designed for both pure and abrasive cutting. It is offered with the KMT Neoline intensifier, rated at 40hp/3,800 bar. The CE marked unit is suited to single head cutting of metals using pure water or abrasives. With stainless steel topworks and a modular design, Mr Rowe says the Neoline has both the build quality of higher specification KMT pumps and also facilitates easy, fast maintenance routines.

The MultiCam 3000 Series can be supplied with any intensifier from the complete KMT range. All MultiCam waterjet systems offered by CNC World are said to be affordable and price competitive.

“Companies operating in the diverse industries we service find MultiCam machines to be reliable and indispensable additions to their production facilities. As with the waterjet tables, KMT intensifiers are top quality machines, built to last and very accurate,” says Mr Rowe. “We work hard to give our customers the best service possible and that is why they come back time after time.”

MultiCam is based in Dallas and is a leader in CNC machine technology. KMT distributors in South Africa and Egypt amongst others have already worked closely with the company. In the UK, sales of MultiCam routers and lasers have been a major reason for the growth of CNC World.
“Since we have been working together, KMT has been very supportive and we look forward to a long and successful working relationship,” Mr Rowe concludes.
