Lloyds Bank return as MACH 2018 sponsor

The Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA) has announced that Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking is to be the headline sponsor of MACH 2018 once again.

This is the fourth time Lloyds Bank has sponsored MACH, further strengthening a long-term relationship between the bank and the MTA, the organisers of the event. MACH takes place every two years and in 2016 attracted over 25,000 visitors.

David Atkinson, UK head of manufacturing, at Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, said: “Manufacturing plays a vital role in the UK economy and is integral to the country's growth ambitions both at home and abroad. We’re thrilled to support MACH again in 2018 as it provides a fantastic platform for manufacturers to showcase the latest industry developments and technology including automation, digitisation and connected manufacturing.

“We understand that manufacturers have unique banking needs and whether it’s investing in new plant and machinery to automate processes or integrating robotics into your factory floor, our manufacturing accredited managers can offer a range of support to help your business find the most appropriate plan. This is part of our Helping Britain Prosper plan to support British manufacturing with an additional £1 billion of new lending this year.”

James Selka, CEO at the MTA, added: “MACH 2018 will be the largest showcase of advanced engineering in the country and a fantastic opportunity to experience the technology that is fuelling an industrial renaissance in the UK. We are delighted to maintain our partnership with Lloyds Bank for the fourth show in a row. It is integral to the success of MACH that our exhibitors and visitors can have proper access to finance, from a bank that understands manufacturers’ needs.”

The MACH 2018 Exhibition will be held from 9-13 April 2018 at the NEC Birmingham.
