Behringer’s product portfolio includes a comprehensive range of sawing and sheetmetal profiling machines.

The company regularly showcases its technology at trade shows and in-house events. This is evidenced not only by its presence at MACH this year but also by its own three-day exhibition ‘Steeldays’. At the 2023 event held at Behringer’s headquarters in Kirchardt, Germany, more than 700 visitors from 25 countries attended.

One of the stars at that show will feature on Behringer’s stand at MACH. With its innovative operating concept, Behringer’s new BehrCtrl10 machine control system offers maximum convenience and supports the user in selecting the optimum performance values.

The revised Auto-Feed-Control (AFC) with extensive material and tool database automatically sets all the necessary technology parameters for cutting speed and saw feed. This offers high productivity and at the same time helps to reduce operating costs through optimum tool life.

At MACH, the new BehrCtrl10 will be featured on a Behringer HBE 321A horizontal bandsaw. This machine features cast iron band guiding parts that provide vibration damping directly at the cutting edge, thus increasing tool life and a servo motor/ballscrew down feed system that results in shorter idle times, more precise saw feeds, higher cutting performance and longer band life. An auto-feed control automatically calculates the optimal values for saw feed and cutting speed.

Also on the stand will be Behringer Eisele VMS 370A automatic circular cold saw. The company has sold more than 250,000 cold saws worldwide and these machines are real all-rounders when it comes to cutting solid material, tubes and profiles.

A cold saw is a circular saw designed for cutting metal with minimal heat generation. It employs a toothed blade that effectively transfers the heat generated during the cutting process to the chips it produces. This keeps the blade and the workpiece cool, leading to precise, burr-free cuts.

The VMS 370 A offers automatic operation with hydro-pneumatic saw feed and pneumatic material clamping. The system is operated via a user-friendly NC control. The heart of the VMS circular saw is a shock absorbing worm gear unit providing smooth operation and low vibration which has a positive impact on the quality of the cutting surface, blade life and service life of the saw.
