Management team changes bring a new focus at 600 UK

600 UK has announced changes to its management team, with Terry Allison appointed managing director and in-turn appointing sales director Paul Rushworth and production director Trevor Moore to the senior management team.

Completing the team are technical director Jonathan Wright and finance director Richard Taylor.

600 UK owns the globally recognised brands of Colchester and Harrison lathes, Pratt Burnerd workholding, Gamet Bearings and the recently introduced Clausing Machine Tools, which are all distributed throughout the UK and Europe.

Mr Allison joins after a successful career within the Sandvik Group; Mr Rushworth recently headed up the successful Clausing Machine tool introduction to the UK and Europe; and Mr Moore has worked at 600 UK in many senior production roles both in the UK and internationally for almost 20 years.

The move follows long-standing managing director, Mike Berry accepting a wider global business and product development role working for 600 Group.

Mr Allison said: “There is a lot of opportunity for the Group going forward, with the development of new services and products. Although it is still early days, we will increase our commitment to improving our service to customers by becoming a customer solution provider with a technology-led machine tool focus.”
