Marking time

More than a decade ago, Trumpf was the first company to introduce industrial diode end pumped marking lasers to the market making laser marking fast, economical and reliable.

Today its systems are used throughout industry and in the medical technology sector in particular, for high value tasks such as product labelling, traceability and plagiarism protection.

With its constant high resolution, the Trumpf laser beam marks characters, images and data matrix codes with tempered colours in metal or by colour changes in plastic. The surface remains unchanged, enabling sterilisation at high temperatures.

From stand 214 at this year's MEDTEC Ireland event taking place from 5-6 October 2011 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Cork, Trumpf will be demonstrating laser marking on its TruMark Station 1000. This is its most compact laser workstation – an entry-level machine that produces high quality marks quickly, easily and inexpensively.

The worktable on the TruMark Station 1000 can be accessed from three sides and raised manually to adjust the focus to the height of the workpiece. It is designed to be plug and play and line integration ready.
