In addition to the company’s buoyant UK sales, Matrix currently exports more than 95% of its thread grinding machines to all of the world’s industrialised countries.
Prompted by pressure from its global customer base, and building on the company’s heritage of producing premium quality manual gear grinders, the Matrix R&D team has recently developed a range of six innovative new CNC gear grinding machines.
Matrix staff will be demonstrating the advanced capabilities of two of the company’s new cutting-edge, CNC gear grinding machines at EMO 2017. The Matrix MGG-0300 CNC is designed for the high-volume production of gear forms, while the Matrix MBGC-100 CNC is an advanced bevel gear cutter that can be configured to function as a bevel gear grinder.
Also at EMO, following further design and development progress, Matrix will be exhibiting a new tapping module which will allow the company’s 0550 CNC machine to create back off angles for the grinding of taps. The module, when integrated with the 0550, is ideal for grinding threads and worms and can also produce taps.
2017 has been a busy year for Matrix. The company’s R&D team have been busy developing new machines and attachments to support and facilitate efficient production for both existing and new customers. 2018 will see the introduction of further new machines to the company’s rapidly expanding range.
