Matsuura Machinery expands with new premises investment

Matsuura Machinery based in Coalville, Leicestershire has announced a significant expansion of operational capacity at its Leicestershire headquarters.

This is following the purchase of the site adjacent to the company’s existing premises.

The new premises will be fully refurbished over the next two years

The additional premises, covering one acre, possesses 11,500ft2 of space, consisting of a large showroom, substantial office space, stores and loading dock, will be fully refurbished over the next two years to add capacity to each department.

Speaking of this investment, Roger Howkins, managing director, said: “This substantial investment is the culmination of our success in supplying automated CNC machine tool solutions to an expanding UK customer base, and reflects our phenomenal growth in the additive manufacturing sector.

“This expansion and investment is a demonstrative sign of our confidence in UK manufacturing, and reflects the current pressure we have for more operational capacity to serve our customers, and also delivers to us more business options as we grow in the future.”

Matsuura supplies OEMs, SMEs and subcontractors with automated multi-axes CNC machining solutions, metal and plastic 3D printing systems.
