Mills CNC appoints new operations manager

Mills CNC has appointed Martin Woodbridge as its new operations manager.

Mills CNC has further strengthened the design and delivery of its comprehensive and customer-focused range of aftersales services with the appointment of Martin Woodbridge as the company's new operations manager.

Mr Woodbridge, who for the last 10 years was employed as both engineering services manager and service manager at DMG (UK), took up his new position in early January 2011, and is responsible for the development and promotion of Mills' range of aftersales services.

The company says that the position of operations manager at Mills is critically important to Mills' future growth and success – something that is readily acknowledged by Mr Woodbridge: “Mills CNC is one of the most successful machine tool companies in the UK,” he remarked. “It has an excellent reputation in the marketplace for the quality, reliability, availability and value for money of the Doosan machine tools it sells, and for the technical and engineering excellence of its people.

‘The company's range of aftersales services are held in similar high regard by customers,” he continues, “and these services are often the key purchase differentiators that underpin Mills' sales and repeat business successes.

“The task of further improving and developing these services – machine tool repair, maintenance and servicing, spares, ancillary equipment and training will be my main objective and I'm really looking forward to the challenge.”
As well as working in an operations capacity at DMG, Mr Woodbridge has also gained extensive experience in machine tool service provision and delivery from his time at Charmilles Technologies and Adtek.
