MMMA celebrates 75th anniversary at MACH

Established in 1949, the Metalforming Machinery Makers Association (MMMA) is the only trade body solely dedicated to the sheet metalforming industry representing companies specialising in sheet metal, metalforming and fabrication.

The MMMA will be celebrating its 75th Anniversary at MACH 2024 which takes place between 15-19 April at the NEC Birmingham.

The association is excited to announce that its Metalworking Village is one of the largest Zones at MACH, occupying over 500m2 of Hall 6 with its own dedicated entrance to the village. It highly recommends visitors to go and explore the village which features over 20 of its members, all of whom will be showcasing their latest cutting-edge technology, products and services.

MMMA anticipates that the extensive range of impressive working exhibits on display will attract a significant number of manufacturers to visit the Zone and MMMA members will be providing live demonstrations, offering expert advice and guidance to all visitors.

The MMMA exists to promote the interests of its member companies who are predominantly involved in the manufacture and sale of metalforming machinery and ancillary products, including high speed presses, hydraulic presses, straight side presses, manual die clamping, coil handling lines, servo forming, benders and stackers.

The association provides world-class advice, guidance and support on a broad range of matters with the aim of enabling its members to thrive in today’s demanding commercial environment and succeed in delivering machinery to their customers in the sectors such as automotive, aerospace, construction, renewables, security and white goods. The association also represents the UK sector worldwide to grow inward investment, joint ventures and exports.

The MMMA has been involved in MACH shows for many years which has provided its members with an unrivalled opportunity to be part of a like-minded community from across the UK engineering and manufacturing industry.

The biennial MACH is renowned for being the UK’s national event for inspiring, innovating and connecting manufacturing. The show brings together thousands of buyers and sellers from around the world and provides a wealth of networking and learning opportunities.
