The acquisition took place in November as part of a natural expansion for the air gauging specialist.
Established in 1990, Engineering & Gauge specialise in the sale, repair and calibration of high quality measuring instruments, as well as the design and manufacture of special gauging fixtures. The expansion means the company is now able to repair, service and calibrate Ferranti CMM machines traceable to UKAS.
Calibration equipment includes a Renishaw laser calibrator, ball bar and length bar fixtures for volumetric checks and electronic testing instruments to improve reliability and accuracy of results.
