New technical sales manager supports West Midlands manufacturing

M.A. Ford Europe has recruited Steve White as technical sales manager to extend the company’s sales, product applications and support services to its growing customer base in the West Midlands.

A qualified engineer with more than 35 years’ experience in the aerospace and automotive sectors, along with general engineering, subcontract manufacture and fabrication, Mr White joins M.A. Ford Europe from Alpha-Sam PPE Recycling where his accounts included Amazon, JLR, London Underground and several local authorities.

His career began at Marston Aerospace as a CNC cell leader and he then joined Cromwell Holdings as a sales engineer in 1988. Mr White then went on to hold several sales management positions and was aerospace national key accounts manager with the responsibility for the UK, France, Poland, Indonesia, Singapore and India, prior to leaving the company in 2015.

Mr White’s role at M.A. Ford encompasses all aspects of the company’s high performance tooling and application engineering, as well as its broader range of integrated manufacturing solutions, which include Rego-Fix powRgrip toolholding, HSM toolpath optimisation software and cutting force measurement and analysis.

Stephen James, MA. Ford Europe’s sales director, explained: “We have continued to grow across the UK and Europe in recent years, so to ensure it is maintained we have made significant investments across the business in manufacturing technology and support systems, as well as in high quality people, such as Steve.”
