Okuma extends package deal on machine/automation combo

Okuma Europe is extending its ‘Affordable Excellence with Automation’ campaign. Until 31st March 2024, interested companies can purchase the Genos L2000-e lathe in combination with the innovative Okuma Robot Cell (ORC) Minitend automation solution at an attractive price, enabling an easy and cost-effective entry into automated production.

In the UK, Okuma is exclusively represented by NCMT.

The Genos L2000-e lathe provides excellent machining precision. Its integrated spindle, flat guides, and high-rigidity guideways provide exceptional machining performance in a wide range of materials.

As an option the Genos L2000-e can be equipped with driven tools and an extra Y-axis. As standard, the machine is equipped with Okuma’s Thermo-Friendly Concept which ensures optimum workpiece quality even when temperatures fluctuate. The internally developed OSP control is also integrated which reduces setup time and significantly improves efficiency.

By seamlessly integrating the Okuma Robot Cell (ORC) Minitend, Okuma says it is taking customer productivity to a whole new level. This automation package, developed by Okuma, is ready to use, easy to operate and has a user-friendly interface.

The IRB1300-12 robot included in the package can safely and accurately load workpieces up to 7kg and 120mm in diameter into the machine, meeting a wide range of production requirements. With the Genos L2000-e lathe and Okuma Robot Cell (ORC) Minitend package, companies can fully exploit the potential of this powerful machining centre, while benefiting from fast loading and unloading times.

To help companies get started with automated production, NCMT is offering this package solution at an extremely competitive price until 31st March 2024 under the slogan ‘Affordable Excellence with Automation’. Contact NCMT for information on model versions and pricing or check out this link.
