To be launched at MACH by Ficep (UK), the small footprint Excalibur 12 CNC automatic beam line for drilling profiles, plates and small fabricated components such as stair stringers, end plates and box sections, is the first monospindle gantry drilling line to use patented scribing and milling options by means of an auxiliary axis system.
The simple, high productivity machine allows smaller fabricators to improve overall efficiency by scribing fabrication detail, drilling a hole pattern without moving material or machining and milling large diameter slots and holes all in one process.
Also being promoted is the Gemini machine – described as an advanced system for profile cutting, drilling, machining, scribing and bevelling which can be used to process components of varying sizes. Additionally, Gasprini roll forming systems are now represented by Ficep (UK).
