Phase Vision takes control

Leicestershire-based 3D white light measurement specialist Phase Vision has branded its first appearance at an overseas exhibition a major success.

The Stuttgart Exhibition Centre in Germany was the venue for the 25th Control Show where Phase Vision took its place among exhibitors from across the globe in the field of manufacturing quality assurance. “The exhibition was attended by thousands of worldwide visitors, many of whom visited the Phase Vision stand to see for themselves the capabilities of our state-of-the-art Quartz range of white light scanners,” revealed Phase Vision's Ralph Weir. "This was our first overseas exhibition but the quality and quantity of visitors to our stand – from different sectors but each with their own specific measurement requirements – was excellent. “There was great enthusiasm about what Phase Vision has to offer – equipment which offers rapid and accurate measurement of all types of materials, even those traditionally regarded as difficult to measure, such as carbon fibre and highly reflective or shiny materials, as well as large objects which other systems find it hard to cope with,” he continued. “The interest we received demonstrated that even as a relatively new entrant to the market, Phase Vision has rapidly established itself as a key player in the area of non-contact measurement, and we believe the event will have opened the eyes of a whole new audience to the possibilities achievable with white light scanning.” Originally pioneered for the most demanding conditions in the aerospace sector, Quartz white light 3D scanners from Phase Vision are suitable for the shopfloor, aircraft hangar, or dockyard. The products use a non-contact structured lighting technique which allows the measurement of very large objects and also 360° measurement of complex objects at production line speeds Phase Vision
