Phil Hopkins Joins Ward CNC as head of strategic sales

Following recent enhancements to the company’s sales and aftersales and service teams, T.W. Ward CNC Machinery (Ward CNC) is delighted to announce the appointment of Phil Hopkins to the position of head of strategic sales.

Mr Hopkins’ appointment will further strengthen the company’s senior management and sales team, bringing a wealth of technical experience within the machine tool industry in both engineering and technical sales.

He started his career as a CNC machinist in the aerospace industry and developed into a production project engineer before successfully moving into sales, constantly exceeding targets and building customer relationships.

Mr Hopkins’ main focus will be selling and promoting the company’s Soraluce brand and portfolio of machine tools and value-added services into existing vertical markets, strategic customers and identifying potential new key markets and customers.

Speaking of his appointment, he commented: “I’m very happy to have taken the position of head of strategic sales here at Ward CNC. It’s a role I’m very excited to get started in and I’m looking forward to working with and developing the Soraluce brand in the UK.”

Ward CNC’s executive director Stephen Bodsworth added: “Phil is the latest of many high-calibre additions we have made to our senior management and sales teams. His track record of machine tool sales combined with many years of building customer relationships will make him a fantastic addition to the company.”
