Q8Oils partners with WATA to support the new generation of engineers

Q8Oils is partnering with West Anglia Training Association (WATA), one of the UK’s leading training providers, to support its apprenticeship programmes as part of its commitment to help develop the next generation of skilled engineers.

It is donating high-quality oils for the machinery used in training courses and also providing equipment such as mixing systems. Q8Oils is also supporting the curriculum by sharing its knowledge on safe working practices through presentations to tutors and handouts for the students.

Martin Crabtree, an industrial applications specialist at Q8Oils, commented: “I heard about WATA through a longstanding Q8Oils client whose apprentices train there and it seemed a natural opportunity to offer our support. We bring our expertise on lubrication matters, metalworking fluids and technical advice to ensure safe working practices within the workplace are understood. We are delighted to have the opportunity to share this with students at WATA.”
