Advanced Engineering UK has announced some of the leading industry figures who will be speaking at the show.
Taking place on November 1 and 2, 2023, the two-day exhibition, held at the NEC Birmingham, will see leading professionals come together to discuss and showcase innovative products from a variety of sectors including aerospace, composites, automotive, space, rail and more.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with experts in engineering and manufacturing through four dedicated forums and the Main Stage, new for 2023. These forums, namely aerospace, composites, automotive and the AMT Stage, will showcase the industry's leading voices who will engage in discussion around vital topics, such as supply chain management and digitalisation.
This year’s day one keynote speaker is Richard Noble, OBE, former world land speed record holder and serial innovator at ThrustWSH. Also on the main stage, Eman Martin-Vignerte, director of external affairs and government relations at Bosch will share her thoughts on digitalisation and automation.
In the afternoon, there will be a women in manufacturing panel, followed by a discussion from Make UK on how new industrial technologies are affecting the skilled workforce.
On day two, the opening keynote speech will be given by Make UK, followed by talks from Made in Britain on innovation and design, and a second panel on women in composites. Two exciting competitions will also be held on the main stage, with the Enabling Innovation competition in the morning and the SAMPE Design and Make competition in the afternoon.
At the Aerospace Forum, visitors can meet experts from H2FLY, Rolls-Royce, YEET Aerospace, MGI Engineering, ADS, Midlands Aerospace Alliance, Satellite Applications Catapult, Gravitilab and Spirit AeroSystems, covering topics ranging from digitally enabled supply chains to propulsion technologies.
At the Composites Forum there will be speakers from: AMRC; Creative Composites, NCC, Composites Leadership Forum, Composites UK, KTN, Plataine, Ford, WMG, Composite Branding Ltd and ADS.
Attendees will also able to see Pim van Baarsen, CEO at Silverstone Technology Cluster, and Lucy Parsons, sales account manager at Nikon Metrology UK, who will be discussing and showcasing innovative products at the Automotive Forum.
