New appointment at TDT Machine Tools to promote lathe sales

Mark Hone, who has 15 years of experience in the machine tool sector, has been appointed primarily to spearhead the sales of high-quality CMZ lathes and turning centres across the central England region. TDT was appointed a UK sales partner for Spain-headquartered CMZ in January 2020.

Mr Hone arrives at TDT following extensive periods at a number of established competitors. His track record of concluding sales is highly regarded, making him the ideal candidate to further strengthen the market position of both TDT and CMZ. His central England sales area for CMZ is extensive, running coast-to-coast from Lincolnshire in the east, to Wales in the west, taking in the East and West Midlands, including Hereford and Worcester, and extending as far north as Sheffield and Doncaster.

I came across CMZ many times in my previous roles and only heard great things about them. CMZ has been manufacturing high-specification lathes and turning centres for more than 70 years. Based on robust build quality, all CMZ machines are designed to offer a lifecycle of more than 20 years.
