thyssenkrupp Materials wins BAE Systems supplier award

BAE Systems Air held its supplier conference in October, attended by thyssenkrupp Materials UK’s global key account manager, Bob Blackhurst.

“It was a positive and informative day with excellent networking opportunities with BAE Systems and its partners,” said Mr Blackhurst. “More than 100 different aerospace businesses were represented at the event. The conference focused on strategic alignment, risk mitigation and sustainability.”

BAE Systems Air announced the company’s prestigious Supplier Recognition Awards, with thyssenkrupp Materials UK winning an award for the organisation’s outstanding supplier performance and contribution to achieving operational excellence.

The award has been received with special thanks to the whole team in the UK, for all the hard work through the recent challenging times and the exceptional level of support the business offers.

thyssenkrupp Materials UK has been a partner of BAE Systems for 22 years, supporting the F35, Typhoon, Hawk, and more recently, the Tempest programmes.
