Trumpf announces new open house event

For three days in June 2017, Trumpf will host an open house to display how the company continues to innovate to help UK manufacturers be competitive and successful.

Visitors will be introduced to new Trumpf punching, laser and bending technologies and will be invited to take part in a programme of seminars focused on efficient and smart production.

The event will mark the UK launch of the TruMatic 1000 fiber, a new laser machine that comes with additional punching and forming functionality. Thanks to its extended capabilities, the machine is highly cost-effective and provides excellent production flexibility. In combination with a very compact footprint, the company says these characteristics make the TruMatic 1000 fiber an ideal asset for UK subcontractors.

Introduced at EuroBLECH 2016 in Germany, the machine has already attracted a lot of attention in the UK and the first model will be installed at a Bedfordshire fabricator in May.

Trumpf bending competence is also highlighted at the open house. The company offers small to oversize format press brakes as well as a range of semi-automatic and automatic panel benders. These machines enable parts to be fabricated in any format, from the simplest to the most complex and are known for their flexibility, finished part quality and high cost-benefit ratio.

The open house runs from 13-15 June 2017. Attendance is free and registration to the event is via Trumpf’s website.
